Product description

The patch is embroidered. It has a plastic iron on backing with Japanese Brand Iron on Glue. The borders are embroidered and laser cut. The patch can be sewn on to leather jackets, nylon vests. You can also iron on the patch to cotton and synthetic materials that can withstand 280 degrees fahrenheit which is the recommended temperature for heat pressing on our patches. A 12 second press will do. 30 Seconds if using a household iron. There is no setting we can recommend for irons. You must find out your iron's setting that yields a temperature of 270 degrees. If you use too much heat you'll melt the plastic and the glue will lose it's properties. If you use too little heat the glue won't activate. Plus or Minus 10 Degrees is acceptable. Do not iron on patches to leather, you'll scorch your jacket. You can use patches to customize the look of your clothing. They can be attached to anything from shirts to jackets, to hats to backpacks. Applications are only limited to your imagination. Cover up a tear on your jacket or make a statement or two with different patches. You are buying a top quality embroidered patch manufactured by Ivamis Trading. In the online patch business since 2009

Frequently Asked Questions

What is special about Flyability's technology?

The biggest technical problem related to using drones indoor and in confined spaces is the risk of collisions. A collision does not only mean a risk of braking propellers but also a risk of bringing the drone into a position where it can no longer fly. Both situations lead to the same tragic end: a crash.

Unlike many drone manufacturers, we did not set to find a solution to sense and avoid obstacles. We rather opted for a solution to be tolerant to collisions. With this approach, our products started to be used for inspection in dark and complex confined spaces when sense avoid technology was far from being ready for it. Today, it is still extremely difficult to perform these kinds of inspections and get the same level of data quality by relying on sense and avoid technology alone.

Thanks to our proprietary collision tolerant flight algorithm, our latest product – Elios 2 – is the leading platform to perform remote visual inspection in confined spaces available in mass production.

Is Flyability providing inspection services?

Flyability is not a service provider but a drone manufacturer. We have an internal team of pilots which is primarily assigned to training and demonstrations. We are happy to deploy our staff to your site if you are interested in a demonstration, a proof of concept, or if you want to get personal training about our products.

How much does it cost to perform indoor inspections with drones?

The cost of performing drone-based indoor inspections instead of manned inspections at your plant depends on many factors. It depends on your environment, your team, the material you require, the frequency at which you perform them, etc.

In average, our clients see a return on investment within the first year of use. Some see a 10x return on investment within the first flight.

If you are interested in the price of our products you can download our product offering on the Elios 2 price page.

Are Flyability products ATEX, Ex Rated, or Intrinsically Safe?

No, they are not. However, this does not prevent Flyability clients to inspect tanks, fluid catalytic crackers, oil cargo tanks, and many other places aiming at storing or processing highly explosive goods. Like for any manned inspection, these environments must be cleaned and inerted prior to being inspected. Flyability products still bring tremendous value to our clients and keep in mind, drones do not breathe so they are very comfortable in nitrogen inerted environments.

If you want to learn more om this topic, you can read this extensive article explaining why drones are not intrinsically safe.

Does Flyability work with resellers?

Yes. We have a network of 50 resellers around the world who are trained to demonstrate the technology, provide training, and perform maintenance operations on our products. You can find the complete list here.
